The trail then ascends steeply in a zigzag pattern, leading to the breathtaking Gandala Pass at 4,380 meters. After soaking in the panoramic views, start the long descent towards Shingo, a journey of about two hours, gradually entering the picturesque Markha Valley. A short walk further brings you to the village of Skyu, where you will set up camp for an overnight stay in tents, with dinner included.

- After breakfast, take a short trek along the stream leading to Hemis Monastery, one of the oldest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh. Explore its vibrant murals, ancient artifacts, and spiritual ambiance before driving back to Leh. En route, visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its grand Maitreya Buddha statue, followed by Shey Palace and Stok Palace, which also houses a fascinating museum. Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for individual activities. Dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
